Privacy Policy

Krevez is built to need as little of your data as possible. There is no account, no login, and no tracking. Your projects live on your device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means, what limited data is involved when you pay for Krevez Pro or write to us, and your rights around the world. It covers the Krevez app on Apple platforms (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and on Android, and this website (krevez.com).

1. Who we are

Krevez is developed and published by Nikhil Vohra (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”), an individual based in India — on the Apple App Store and on Google Play alike. For any privacy question — including requests under any privacy law, and grievances under India’s DPDP Act — contact support@krevez.com.

2. Our privacy principles

• No account and no login — we never ask for a username, password or email to use the app.
• No tracking — no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no third-party code of any kind inside the app, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not track you.
• On-device by default — your designs and project files stay on your device.
• No sale or sharing of personal information — ever.

3. Data we collect through the app: none

We do not collect personal information through the app. Krevez does not require or create an account, and does not send your designs, photos or project files to us. Photos you edit are processed entirely on your device. Content you create stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.

The app asks for exactly two permissions, both for on-device features: camera (only when you choose “Take Photo”, so the picture can be placed on your canvas) and permission to save to your photo library (only to save your exported slides and videos). Choosing an existing photo happens through the operating system’s photo picker, which shares only the specific photos you pick and nothing else. None of this ever reaches us.

This is also exactly what we declare to both stores: our App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”, and our Google Play Data safety declaration is no data collected, no data shared.

4. On-device intelligence and asset downloads

Some Krevez features (for example subject cut-out, caption suggestions, Genmoji and image generation on supported devices) use the intelligence built into your device’s operating system. These run on your device through Apple’s or Google’s own system services under their terms — we do not receive your photos, prompts or results. Separately, some premium design assets are downloaded on demand; those downloads come from the store’s content-delivery network (Apple’s or Google’s), which may keep the standard delivery logs any download involves. We receive no personal data from either. The app may also check Apple’s public App Store lookup service to see whether a newer version is available; this sends only the app’s identifier, never anything about you.

5. Data you send us voluntarily

If you email us or use the contact form on this website, we receive what you send — typically your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply to you, never for marketing, and we delete the correspondence once your matter is resolved, unless the law requires us to keep it. Ask at any time and we will delete it sooner.

6. Purchases

Krevez Pro — whether the monthly or yearly subscription or the one-time lifetime purchase — is sold only through the store your app came from: Apple’s App Store on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and Google Play on Android. Nothing is ever sold or charged on this website. All billing runs on the store’s own systems, under its own privacy policy (Apple’s Privacy Policy · Google’s Privacy Policy). We receive only the anonymous signal needed to confirm your Pro entitlement on that device; we never see your name, payment card or billing address. Manage subscriptions in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions (Apple) or Play Store › Payments & subscriptions (Android).

7. How your content is stored — device and iCloud

Projects are saved on your device. On Apple devices, if iCloud sync is available and enabled, your projects sync between your own devices through your personal iCloud account — that data flows between you and Apple under Apple’s terms; we never receive, see or hold it. On Android, projects are stored locally on the device. Krevez’s portable project file (the .krevezfile) is encrypted using AES-GCM. If you export or share a project, that happens through the system share sheet under your control — we are not a party to it. To delete your content, delete the projects or the app; there is nothing for us to delete on any server of ours, because we don’t have one.

8. This website

krevez.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers — which is why there is no cookie banner. The site stores two small preferences in your browser’s local storage — your motion on/off setting and your language choice — which stay on your device until you clear your browser data, plus one temporary flag in session storage that only stops you being redirected twice in the same visit and clears itself the moment you close the tab. None of the three ever leaves your browser. Prices shown in your local currency are chosen by your browser’s own timezone and language settings, on your device, with no request to any location service. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server access logs (IP address, requested page) for security and operations, as virtually all web hosts do; we do not use them to identify you.

9. Children

Krevez collects no personal data from anyone — including children. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store and the equivalent “suitable for everyone” rating on Google Play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review and accept our Terms on your behalf.

10. Your rights — GDPR (EU/EEA & UK)

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Because we hold no personal data about you (other than emails you chose to send us), there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase; where any question arises, contact us and we will assist. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (see edpb.europa.eu).

11. Your rights — CCPA/CPRA (California)

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information and do not collect it through the app.

12. Your rights — DPDP Act (India)

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have rights of access, correction and erasure, and a right to grievance redressal. Since Krevez does not collect personal data through the app, there is ordinarily no such data held by us. For any request or grievance, write to support@krevez.com; Nikhil Vohra is the contact person for grievance redressal.

13. Other regions

Wherever you live — including Canada (PIPEDA), Brazil (LGPD), Australia (Privacy Act) and elsewhere — the same facts apply: we collect nothing through the app, we hold at most the emails you send us, and you can exercise any right your local law grants by writing to us.

14. Data retention

We do not retain personal data collected through the app, because we do not collect it. Support correspondence is kept only until your matter is resolved. Your on-device content is retained by you, on your device and (on Apple devices) in your own iCloud, until you delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves or as the law requires. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
