A carousel is a set of pictures people swipe through, like an Instagram post with several pages. Tap Create to reach My Projects, then tap Create there. Krevez asks for a name — type one, or leave it blank and it names the project for you. Your blank first page opens, with a few cards to show you around. It saves itself as you work.

Choose Photo Library and pick a picture. It lands on your slide, already selected and ready to move or resize with your fingers.

Type your text and tap Done. While your text is selected, the bar at the bottom offers its tools: font, size and colour, curves, and more.

Tap + in the panel to add another slide, or tap any slide to jump to it. Once you have more than one, dots appear under your canvas showing where you are — tap or drag across them to move between slides, or hold them to reopen this panel.

Choose Images and every slide is exported, ready to post anywhere. (Video and Project File live in the same menu; see Sharing below.)

Tap the eraser in the top bar and Krevez asks what you want to clear: just this slide, or everything on every slide. Your slides themselves stay — only what's on them is removed. It always asks first, and Undo brings it all back. The same thing sits in the ☰ menu as Erase canvas.

Images saves every slide as pictures, ready to post. Video turns them into a slideshow clip. Project File packages the whole project so a friend can open it in Krevez.

Krevez saves as you work and shows nothing when it succeeds. If a save can't finish, a red status word appears in the centre of the top bar — tap it to try again. A brief "Saving…" can also flash there while a big change is written.

Everything that isn't a drawing tool lives behind ☰, in five labelled groups. Krevez Pro is your account. Canvas is what happens to the slide itself. On-Canvas Controls are the optional helpers that float over your work. Project covers saving and exporting this carousel. App is the whole app — including Help, which is how you got here. The next few pages walk each group in the order you'll see it.

Upgrade to Pro and Account & Subscription sit at the top — see What's free, what's Pro below. Then Canvas, which acts on the slide you're looking at. Slide background… opens a picker with three tabs — Colour, Designs, and Custom. Reset zoom to 100% undoes any pinching and puts the slide back at its true size. Erase canvas… is red because it clears your work — it always asks first, and Undo brings it back. Record build video starts the making-of recording; it's the same recorder behind the Slideshow button in the top bar.

Show zoom slider adds a slider under the slide for zooming without pinching — it greys out while the canvas padlock is closed. Favourites star switches on the floating gold star that holds everything you've starred. Both start off. Quick Tools is a drill-in, not a switch — it opens its own page where you star the tools you want on the wrench button in the top bar, which is always there. Nothing here changes your carousel — only what you see while you work on it.

Save as Template… keeps this project's design so you can start from it next time. Export Project File… packages the whole project — pictures, fonts and all — as a Krevez file you can send to someone; it's the same thing as Share → Project File. Export format shows its current setting on the right (JPEG or HEIC). Custom fonts… is where you bring your own typefaces in. Hidden items… is the way back for anything you've hidden from the Add panel — if a sticker or a whole category has vanished, this is where it went.

iCloud Sync tells you whether your projects are following you between devices. Krevez can't switch iCloud on for you, so the row hands you a Settings button that opens the right place in the Settings app. Haptics turns the little taps you feel on and off. Help opens this Handbook. Replay Introduction runs the welcome cards again from the start. About and Font Licenses hold the version, the legal documents and the typeface credits, and Learn more at krevez.com opens the website.

Free gives you the first designs in every category, two filters total, and two exports a day shared across images, video, project files, Build Video, and Chat Replay — mix them however you like, and they reset the next day. New projects are capped at two slides; square, portrait, and wide stay free, but typing in a custom size is Pro, and so are Colour Grading's Advanced sliders and the Auto suggestion. Items with a crown badge, and every limit above, lift with Krevez Pro: monthly, annual, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Manage it anytime in ☰ menu → Account & Subscription.

When you go Pro, Krevez fetches all the premium stickers, templates, frames and backgrounds so they're ready even offline. On Wi-Fi it happens automatically in the background — a small "Downloading your Pro assets" bar sits under the top tools and disappears when it's done. On cellular nothing downloads automatically; tap any locked item wherever you're using it to fetch just that one pack. You can always check progress from the ☰ menu, and on Wi-Fi you can start or resume the whole download from there too.

Import .ttf, .otf, or .ttc files from the Files app. They appear under My Text in the font picker. You're responsible for the fonts' own licensing.

JPEG opens everywhere; it's the safe choice. HEIC makes smaller files that modern iPhones and Macs read happily. If unsure, stay on JPEG.

Save as Template keeps this project's whole design in your Templates, so next time you start from it instead of a blank page.

Star up to 10 tools you use most, and the Quick Tools button (the wrench) in the top bar keeps them one tap away. It shows only tools that fit whatever you've selected.

A gold star that floats on your canvas and opens everything you've starred — templates, stickers, frames, layouts, and text boxes. It starts switched off: turn it on in the ☰ menu under On-Canvas Controls, then drag the star anywhere you like and it tucks itself against the nearest edge. Tap it any time for your favourites; long-press a tile in the list to unstar it. The star steps out of the way while you're in Layers or composing a chat.

The short set of cards that introduced the editor when you first opened it isn't gone. Choose Replay Introduction in the ☰ menu and it starts again from the beginning, whenever you'd like a refresher.

Tap anything once to select it, and a teal box with handles appears. Drag to move it (it snaps to helpful guides), pinch to resize, twist two fingers to rotate, or drag a corner handle for precise sizing.

Press and hold any item for half a second: Lock pins it in place (hold again to unlock), Duplicate makes a copy, Delete removes it.

Select an item, tap ⋯ in its tool row, and scroll to Arrange. Bring Forward and Send Backward move it one step through the stack; Bring to Front and Send to Back take it all the way. Copy takes a copy of the item, and Paste drops it back — Paste stays greyed out until you've copied something, which is why it looks disabled the first time you open this. Below Arrange, the same sheet repeats Duplicate, Lock and Hide, so you rarely need to close it to finish a job.

Hold down a frame, layout, or template and choose Merge frames, then tap the others to include and hit Merge. One photo now shows through all of them like a window. Select the merged group and tap Unmerge to undo it.

Pinch the canvas with two fingers to zoom; drag with one finger to move around while zoomed. Double-tap to snap back to 100%. There's also an optional slider you can turn on in the ☰ menu.

Tap the padlock to freeze the canvas zoom. It's useful when you're working close up and don't want a stray pinch to move your view. Tap again to unlock.

One lock toggle on the canvas top-right freezes every item on the slide; tap it again to release them all. Locked items can't be moved or resized until you unlock them.

If you tap or drag something and nothing moves, that layer is locked. Krevez won't silently ignore you: a short message appears telling you the layer is locked. Unlock it from the layer's ⋯ menu (Unlock), or from the lock badge on its row in Layers.

The bar at the bottom is home base. These five buttons are how everything gets onto your slide:

With a photo or text selected, open ⋯ and tap Customize Toolbar to choose which tools sit in the bar: up to five for photos, four for text. Anything you switch off stays reachable under ⋯.

Tap any photo once and its tools slide in above the toolbar. Tap an empty spot to put them away:

Drag the corners to trim, or pick a fixed shape like 1:1. Auto suggests a crop around your subject; Straighten levels the photo in one tap. Apply saves it.

The Filters tab has ready-made looks — tap one to see it on your photo; two are free, the rest are a Krevez Pro feature (your own saved My Filters are always free). The Colour Grading tab has Basic sliders for warmth and more, free for everyone, plus an Advanced section with sliders like exposure — Advanced and the one-tap Auto suggestion are both Krevez Pro. Everything here is a preview: tap Save Changes at the bottom to keep it. Cancel, or swiping the sheet away, leaves the photo exactly as it was. Save as filter stores the look in My Filters for reuse, but it doesn't apply it to this photo — tap Save Changes for that too.

Effects adds a soft shadow behind the photo, a coloured outline around it, or rounded corners, each with its own slider.

Fade opens on Layer, which makes the whole photo evenly see-through — on a photo, a wand also appears here: one tap finds your subject and fades everything around it, so you only have to tidy up by hand. Brush lets you paint the fade exactly where you want it, and Area fades a rectangle. Done keeps your work; the arrow beside it undoes the whole session.

Paint with your finger (Brush) or drag a rectangle (Area) to cut through the photo, showing whatever is behind it. Reset clears your drawing; Done keeps it.

Krevez finds the person or object in your photo and removes everything behind them. Great for clean, poster-style slides. You can undo it.

This copies your photo's subject as a separate cut-out sticker you can move, resize, and layer like anything else. Every cut-out you make is also kept for you: a My Stickers tab appears at the front of + → Stickers, so you can drop the same cut-out into any other slide or project.

Replace keeps the photo's size, position, crop, grading and effects — only the picture changes, so it's perfect for reusing a slide you like. One thing doesn't survive: if you cut a window through the old photo with Frames, that window is cleared. Changed your mind? Undo brings the old picture straight back.

The same ⋯ sheet has two sections that look alike but do different things. Flip turns the picture around where it stands — Horizontal swaps left and right, Vertical turns it upside down. Mirror instead adds a reflected copy alongside the original: Left, Right, Above or Below puts the twin on that side, and Quad Mirror gives you all four, like a kaleidoscope tile.

Shape Frames cuts your photo into a silhouette. Pick a shape, then move and resize it on the photo before you commit.

Frame the subject draws a neat box hugging the main person or object in your photo. It's a quick way to make them stand out.

Tap Text to add words, or tap existing text once to select it. Its tools slide in above the toolbar:

Normal Text is everyday fonts. Creative Text is decorative lettering: neon, chalk, bubble and more. My Text is fonts you've added yourself. On Normal Text, the chips along the top narrow the list to one mood — swipe along them for more, and tap the lit chip again to see all fonts. Search filters whichever tab you're on. Press and hold any font to star it, and your starred fonts stay pinned at the top.

Drag the size slider or type an exact size, pick a solid colour or a colourful preset, and save your own brand colours as reusable swatches. Set the thickness from Thin to Heavy; italic, underline, strike, auto-fit and a Text fill slider live here too. Creative fonts come with their own colours and lettering built in, so on those you'll see size, thickness and fit only.

Curve bends your words into a shape: Straight, Arc, Ring, Wave, or Bump. Arc, Wave and Bump each get a slider for how deep the bend goes — drag it the other way to flip the bend over. A Ring is a full circle unless you narrow it into a band. Pick Custom to shape the line yourself: drag the dots on the canvas, and press and hold a dot to add or remove one. Bends you save are kept for reuse. Creative fonts can arc and ring; the hand-drawn bends are for normal fonts.

Opens Apple's translation panel for the selected text. Pick a language and replace your words with the translation.

Text box wraps your words in a decorative container: a speech bubble, a sticky note, a price tag, and more. Pick a style, or None to take the box off. Once your text has a box, a Box button joins its toolbar — tap that to swap the style or remove it later.

With Warp corners on, drag any corner of the text box to tilt and stretch it, like a label photographed at an angle. Reset box shape puts it back. You'll only find it on plain text and the plain rectangle box — picture-style bubbles like speech balloons, sticky notes and chat bubbles can't be warped — and the corners go back to plain resizing while the text is on a Custom hand-drawn bend.

Tap + and pick a tile: ready-made designs, stickers, frames, layouts, shapes, text boxes, backgrounds, and drawing. You can even drag the tiles into your own order.

Browse by category and tap one to drop it on your slide, then tap its empty photo slot to fill it with your picture. Designs you save yourself appear under My Templates.

Search or browse by category and tap to place. With a sticker selected, its bar offers effects: a shadow, a glow, or an outline.

A frame is a shaped window: a circle, heart, star, and more. Add one, then tap its empty middle to put a photo inside. Looking for phone, tablet, or laptop shells? Those live in the Shape Frames tile, under its Devices tab — drop one on the canvas, then use its ⋯ menu → Add photo to screen.

Shape Frames is its own tile, separate from Frames, and it works the other way round: instead of adding an empty shape, it cuts a shape-shaped window into a photo you already have. So tap your photo on the canvas first — open it with nothing selected and Krevez tells you to go back and pick one. The Devices tab is the exception: phones, tablets and laptops with see-through screens, which you can drop straight onto the slide and then fill using the shell's ⋯ menu → Add photo to screen.

A layout holds several photos at once: 2×1, 3×3, circles, and more. Add one, then tap each empty cell to fill it.

Squares, stars, arrows, callouts, banners. Tap to add one, then use Style in its bar to change the fill, outline, and corner roundness.

The Templates tab has one-tap card designs (Meme Card, Tier List and friends); Chat, Comic, Labels, and Plain hold speech bubbles, captions, tags, and boxes. Tap one and type.

Pick a chat style, then tap Them or Me to drop a bubble and type it right on the slide. The ••• button on the chat bar holds ticks, a typing bubble, timestamps and the contact's name, and you can add a reaction to any bubble. Tap the preview button on the chat bar to watch the conversation animate, choose Slow, Normal or Fast, and export it as a video.

Colour picks any shade, Designs has ready-made textures, and Custom tiles one of your own images into a pattern. Apply to all slides or just this one, and save backgrounds you like.

Full-Screen Editor opens a big drawing pad; Draw on Canvas lets you sketch directly over your slide. Either way your strokes land on the slide as a picture you can move and resize.

Every photo you bring in shows up here for quick reuse. Long-press one to remove it from Recents.

Touch and hold any item and choose Favourite — a red ring shows it's starred. In Text Boxes and Shape Frames there's a heart in the corner you can just tap instead. Your favourites live behind the Favourites tile in the Add panel; turn on the Favourites star in ☰ More to reach them from the canvas without opening the panel. The same touch-and-hold offers Hide, on one item or a whole category — bring anything back from ☰ menu → Hidden items.

Some Templates are a card you fill in — a comic strip, a tier list, a stat row, a poll, a colour palette. Add one from Templates, then tap it once to select it and tap ⋯ in its bar and choose Tools. A panel opens with controls made for that card: rows and captions, values and labels, colours and covers. Everything else — move, resize, delete — works like any other layer, and each card's empty slots take a photo with a tap.

A 4-Koma card is a strip of panels — great for a before/after or a step-by-step. Panels sets how many, and each panel has its own caption. Drop a photo into any panel.

A tier list is a stack of labelled rows. Set how many rows, rename each row's label (S, A, B…), and drop photos into a row to rank them.

Cell-badge cards tag a grid of photos. Layout sets the cells, the columns, and an optional header. Then the badges: Numbers, Stats (a big figure with a caption), Ratings (stars), Marks (a tap-to-cycle grid, handy for a habit tracker), Stamps, People (name plates) and Stages. Row labels name each row.

A row-rail card is a list of rows. In Bars mode each row has a label and a value slider shown as a percentage — perfect for a poll. In Timeline mode each row has a date and a caption instead.

A cover card lays big text over your photo — a masthead, a title and a tagline. Edit each line, and the Scrim slider darkens the photo behind the words so they stay readable.

A swatch card shows a palette. Set how many swatches (3 to 8), turn labels on or off, and pick the swatch shape — Rounded, Circle or Square. Each swatch has its own colour and label.

A callouts card adds little pointers to a photo. Set how many (2 to 5), type each one's text, and drag its dot on the pad to aim the pointer where you want on the picture.

An obscure card covers your photo for a reveal. Pick the Cover — Blur, Pixelate or Silhouette — and the Reveal shape — Full, Band or Circle. The Intensity slider sets how strong it is, and a Prompt line adds a teaser caption.

Everything on a slide sits in a stack, like sheets of paper, and Layers shows you that stack. Tap Layers and it takes over the canvas — your slide hasn't gone anywhere, and the same button (now a ‹ arrow) brings it back. You get two views of the same stack. On top, your slide is tilted and pulled apart so you can see the sheets separately. Underneath is a list, one row per layer, with the frontmost at the top. Drag a row by the grip on its left to restack it. Each row carries the same three controls: a pencil to edit that layer on its own, an eye to hide it, and a padlock to pin it. Background sits at the bottom with a small padlock and none of the three — it's the slide itself, so it can't be reordered, hidden or removed. The line under the title tells you which slide you're in and how many layers it holds.

View: exploded is a button, not a label — tap it to swap between the pulled-apart 3D stack and a flat, straight-on view. Use flat when the tilt makes a layer hard to recognise. The eye beside it hides or shows every layer at once, which is the quickest way to see what's hiding underneath something. Tap it again to bring everything back. The last button turns on selecting: tick several layers and act on them together instead of one at a time. Tap it again when you're done.

Each row in Layers has an eye. Tap it and that item disappears from the slide — it isn't deleted, and tapping the eye again brings it straight back. The eye at the top of the panel hides or shows everything at once, which is handy for checking what's underneath. Hidden layers stay hidden in your exports, so use it to park something you're not sure about.

Tap the pencil on a row and the panel steps aside, leaving that one item on the canvas by itself. Everything else is hidden while you work, so nothing gets grabbed by mistake. All the normal tools still apply. Tap Done when you're finished and the rest of your slide comes back.

If an item stretches across more than one slide, it shows up in Layers on every slide it touches — but only the slide that owns it can move, hide or lock it. On the other slides it appears as a borrowed row, tagged "from slide N" and without the eye, lock or grip. The ‹N · N› chevrons on the row step you between the slides it spans. To reorder or hide it, go to the slide that owns it.

The panel shows every slide in order. Tap one to jump to it, tap + to add another, or drag one slide onto another to reorder — free projects stop at two slides, and Krevez Pro removes that cap. Press and hold a slide for more: Duplicate, Move Left or Right, Copy All Objects, Paste Objects, or Delete Slide. To clear out several at once, tap Select, tick the ones you don't want, then tap Delete — you'll be asked first, and your carousel always keeps at least one slide. The 4:5 chip sets your carousel's shape — square, portrait, or wide stay free, and a custom size you type in is a Krevez Pro feature. On a project you've already worked on, changing it starts a fresh project at the new size (Krevez saves your current one first), so pick your shape early.

View Slideshow shows your carousel full-screen. Swipe through the slides exactly as people will on social media. Done brings you back to editing.

Record Build Video, inside the Slideshow button, captures your slide while you edit it — a making-of clip. It's for single-slide projects, so on a multi-slide carousel the row stays greyed out. Stop when you're done, split the recording into sections, give each one a speed from 0.25× to 2×, then save the video. The slide's zoom locks itself while recording so the shot stays steady; your items stay fully editable.

Export as Video renders your slides into one MP4 with gentle cross-fades — about two seconds a slide — saved wherever you choose. Two doors lead to it: the Slideshow button in the top tool row (the screen glyph beside Undo and Redo), and Share ▸ Video in the top bar.

Every carousel you make is saved here automatically, and with iCloud on it follows you to your other devices. Tap one to keep working, search by name, tap Create for a new one, or use the import button to open a Krevez project file someone sent you.

Name your project when you create it, or leave the field blank and Krevez names it for you. Rename anytime by long-pressing the project.

Create a folder, then file projects into it. The filter above your library switches between All Projects, Unfiled, and each folder.

Tap Select, check off the projects, then use the folder button to move them or the bin to delete them together.

Press and hold any project on the Projects screen. Rename gives it a new name. Share saves the whole project as a Krevez file you can send to someone or keep as a backup — pictures, fonts and all. Duplicate makes a copy, so you can try a change without risking the original. You can also move it into a folder from the same menu.

A Krevez file holds an entire project. Tap the import button at the top of the Projects screen, pick the file, and it's added to your library as a new project of your own — tap it to open. Editing it changes your copy, never theirs.

Carousel — a post made of several pictures people swipe through. Project — everything you're working on: all your slides, saved together under one name. Slide — one page of your carousel. The one you're editing has a blue ring around it. Canvas — the working area where your slide sits. Layer — one item on a slide (a photo, some text, a sticker). Layers stack, so one can sit in front of another. Background — the colour, photo, or pattern behind everything on a slide. Template — a ready-made design you can start from or save yourself. Build video — a recording of you making a slide, saved as a video. Pro — the optional subscription that unlocks every asset and lifts the daily export limit.
